VISA® Debit Card Reviews
by KamberonHorribleHFS took a step backwards with this card. I hate the chip feature. All the stores or places I shop have different ways to pay. Some can't take the chip and some can. I literally have a list of places that take chip and don't. I shouldn't have ever needed to do this. Protection?? From what? No matter what you bring out to help people with security, unfortunately, there are always people who enjoy undoing it. The goal: security and easy to use pay. Did you get it? Nope.
Mahalo for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the EMV chip technology now available on our debit cards. Please rest assured that this new technology was implemented to help reduce fraud and better protect you. EMV chip technology although slow to be adapted here, will continue to be implemented at more merchants. During this time of transition, you may continue to use the magnetic stripe on the back of the debit card at merchants without an EMV chip reader. This will allow you to continue using your card no matter if the merchant accepts EMV or not. We hope this helps.
by Tee84Old StyleThe only thing that I like about the new card is the picture. Other than that it sucks...the only store that reads the chip is Target and WalMart and when you use it that way it's automatically done as a Debit and you don't get to choose Debit/Credit. This new technology stuff sucks!

by DingoldGood security, nice design, works wellI'm glad that we finally have the chip cards. They are much more secure than the old swipe type. In my opinion, the new design is more attractive than the old card. I do have one feature request though: the ability to use these cards with Android Pay. Last time I visited, I saw a poster that advertised Apple Pay compatibility; I imagine supporting Android Pay can't be too much different.
We're glad that you're happy with your new debit card! Also, mahalo for your suggestion regarding Android Pay. Due to a very small number of merchants in our community accepting mobile wallet payments, the credit union will be postponing our projects for further implementation until a later time. We will however be happy to share your input with our team.
by AnonymousUpgraded cardOur new debit cards suck ! Everytime i go to the store to buy something and i put it in the card reader it doesnt go through then we cant slide it it takes like 8 times to go through, hfs we need new cards
Thank you very much for your feedback. We're very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you - our debit card should not work that way. One of our Service Representatives will be contacting you directly to help resolve the problem.
