Visits to HFS Web-Site

As a visitor to our web site, you will remain anonymous and personal information will not be collected. Only non-identifying information about visits to the site such as date, time visited and browser type may be collected. This information will be used only to compile data about our sites daily use and activity.

If personal identifying information is provided by you and sent via e-mail, such as name and email address, it will be used as a way to communicate with you and to allow us to assist you with any request that you may have. Personal and identifying information are neither sold nor given to other parties. Protecting your privacy is important to us and we are committed in maintaining that privacy.

HFS Federal Credit Union will NEVER call, email, or otherwise contact you and ask you to disclose sensitive financial information. We already have your information and will not ask for it. In cases when you initiate a call to our credit union, we may ask you a few questions to verify your identity, but we will never contact you and ask for this type of information.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

HFS Federal Credit Union does not collect or retain any information from children under the age of 13 on this website. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) helps to protect children’s privacy. HFS Online Banking

HFS Online Banking Services are provided through a secure 128-bit encrypted connection that also employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and Digital Certificates to authenticate transmissions.

HFS Online Banking server uses cookies to keep you logged-in and to assist with navigation. HFS Online Banking will not allow you to log-in until your browser is enabled to accept cookies.

If you have problems logging in, or if you are experiencing problems with the system taking you back to the login page after entering in your password, make sure your browser has cookies properly enabled.

Secured Sites and Links

Some links provide the necessary path to access our secured web pages or sites and may require user identification and password to gain access. These secured pages or sites are areas where personal information is transmitted back and forth over the internet via current encryption technology. It is recommended that you keep your web browser software version current, to help improve the browser security features as well as improve your ability to view different web components.
