Download our free mobile app to manage your account and deposit checks.1 Or you can access your account through your mobile web browser and sign up for text banking to have account information sent directly to your mobile device. Mobile App
With the HFS Mobile App, managing your account is just a few clicks away. Now you can conveniently check account balances, deposit checks, pay bills, and more, from practically anywhere!
Mobile Deposit
Have a check to deposit but don’t have time to make a trip to the Credit Union? Use HFS Mobile Deposit, available on the Mobile App, to deposit your check into your account no matter where you are.2
Automated Phone Banking
Transfer funds, get up-to-the-minute account balances, obtain account information and more, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from your phone. A secure telephone passcode that you create ensures your transactions are completely safe.
To access the Automated Phone Banking System, call 930-1489 or toll-free (877) 930-1489. For help navigating, view the Call Flow Chart.
Text Banking
Text banking is the perfect solution for a quick snapshot of your account. You can access histories and balance information for your Savings, Checking, Loan, Share Certificate, Money Manager, IRA, Home Equity Line of Credit, Line of Credit, and Credit Card accounts.
Enable this feature through Online Banking and simply send a text message with one of the following commands to (59289) once you’re ready to get started.
- BAL (Returns balance information for all activated accounts)
- HIST + texting nickname (ex. HIST SAV1)
- STOP (To cancel text banking service at any time)
- HELP (Provides available text banking commands)

by TravispremoGreat app, but when can we have mobile deposit?The one thing keeping me tied to my mainland accounts is mobile deposit. Living in Puna means an hour of driving to deposit a check. Mobile deposit would make it a five-star app and institution!

by KtnkMore updates!!!Just tryed the hfs fcu app and it needs to be updated more. I have more than one account on hfs fcu but it's only allowing me to access one. It doesn't have a feature to add on more accounts to view.

by PochomanLove the app!This new app is awesome! I am so impressed. It works fast!! I can transfer funds and I can see all my transactions....and can even pay my bills on the go. I love it. Just wish I could deposit a check on the go. (Maybe on a future release??)

Is HFS Mobile Banking secure?
Mobile Banking offers the same security and encryption as our Online Banking service ensuring that your information is safe and secure.

I’m having a hard time distinguishing between my different accounts, what can I do?
The easiest way to differentiate between your various accounts is by adding nicknames to your accounts. You can add Account Nicknames by logging into Online Banking and under “Your Preferences” select “Member Preferences” and then click on “Account Nicknames”. If you have Multiple Accounts set up you will need to log in to each account separately to nickname the accounts.

Do I need a special phone to use Mobile Banking?
Mobile Banking is designed to work with virtually all of today’s phones and most major mobile phone service providers. You can use this service if:
- Your phone allows text messaging to and from short codes; or
- You can browse the Internet on your phone; or
- You have an iPhone, Amazon or Android mobile device.

Are check images available on Mobile Banking?
Check images that may have cleared your account are not currently available on Mobile Banking. To view these images simply log on to Online Banking.

What does Mobile Banking cost?
There’s no fee for using Mobile Banking, however standard message and data rates may apply. Check your carrier plan for details

What if my phone is lost or stolen?
You can disable Mobile Banking on your device at any time by signing into Online Banking and clicking on the “Mobile Banking” tab. Choose the “Stop using this device for Mobile Banking” option next to the phone number you want to deactivate. This will cancel your Text Banking and Mobile Banking registration associated with that device. Or you may call the Credit Union at (808) 930-1400 during business hours and we can un-enroll your device for you.

I’m trying to register for Mobile Banking using my iPhone but the screen will not load?
This may be due to a Safari Privacy & Security setting on your device. Mobile Banking uses Cookies to load data – to allow this on earlier versions of the iPhone you would set “Accept Cookies” to “Always” and on newer versions you would change “Block Cookies” to “Never”.
- How do I download the Mobile App?

How do I sign up to use Automated Phone Banking?
Members must opt-in to use this service. Please contact the Credit Union to have this enabled and to set up your temporary access code.
